WWW. #2

WWW. – Wednesday's Wise Words (Seriously, I'm a genius. Www. as a reference to the internet. Just brilliant)

Now, I’m not saying that you should be at the gym for over an hour every single day, I’m just saying that exercise is important and I’m applying that even to the smallest of everyday things. Make conscious healthier lifestyle choices.

Do you always take the lift? Take the stairs and if the lift gets stuck, at least you’re not in it! You can also run up or take two at a time, plenty of options.

Instead of sending emails at work to somebody you can actually see, get up and go and talk to them! I also do sneaky heel raises when waiting for the printer.

Do you drive everywhere? Walk the smaller distances, you’ll save fuel – therefore money.. and the planet!

You feel like rubbish but know you should go to the gym? It’s proven that getting up and working out will make you feel better. Again, I’m not saying you have to go beast it at the gym, a walk/jog/run is better than nothing and it doesn’t even have to be that far.

Finally, download the 7 Minute Workout Challenge from the App Store. You don’t need to buy any extra equipment and as it only takes 7 minutes, you really don’t have an excuse. (24 hours in a day; allow 8 for sleeping, 8 for working, 2 for eating, 1 for getting ready = 19. 24 – 19 = 5. 5 hours = 300 minutes. 300 – 7 = 293 other minutes for you to do whatever you want)

If you want something a little more intense, take a look at Kayla Itsines guides… (and definitely stalk her Instagram!)

Is there a subject you'd like me to address next week?

Halloween Hack

I have a little bit of a problem with Halloween, it's fun to dress up but you spend money on an outfit that you'll never wear again because you can't go as the same thing two years in a row etc..

I've put together a small selection of items that work for Halloween but you'll be able to get more than one wear from it!

Top Left: Velvet Dress Velvet is definitely an Autumn/Winter fabric. Grungy and gothic but jazz it up for the Christmas party season.

Top Centre: Louboutin Nail Polish Expensive but aren't you going to feel like a BOSS with this on your nails!

Top Right: Leather-Look Skort Skorts were big for Summer and they're not going away for Winter, give yours an update with 'bad-ass' leather.

Middle Left: Chevron Studded Heels Beauty in a shoe – so snazzy!

Middle Centre: Floral Mesh Button Dress I love this dress! It looks casual enough to be something I'd actually wear but classy too. For Halloween you could definitely rock a Wednesday Addams inspired look.

Middle Right: Leather & Skulls Bling It On The skulls might be a bit OTT but I've been intrigued by leather effect nails for a little while now. It's either going to be brilliant or awful.

Bottom Left: Lace Bralet I'm not sure I have the *ahem* balls to wear this by itself but I'd wear under a sheer shirt to give an outfit some edge.

Bottom Centre: Moon & Beetle Necklace I don't think I've seen anything like this before, something a little different and I actually quite like it.

Bottom Right: Monster Clutch Fun but not ridiculous.

What are your plans for Halloween?
